Chair of the Trust Phil Evans paid a visit to Inchmickery Play Park Sunday morning with Vice Chair Brian Johnston to meet Helen and Heather from the Inchmickery Play Park Group. The Trust has donated £500 to the Play Park project to help them get to their £3000 target needed to support match funding from other donors.
Helen and the team have done a fantastic job in a very short space of time to raise money to rejuvenate the Inchmickery play park. They have the support of the local community, the Community Council and Fife Council and everything else in place…now they just need the funding for this much needed refurbishment.
This donation by the Trust will hopefully spur them on to reach their £3000 match funding target.
One of the founding principles of Dalgety Community Trust is to support other local groups where we can. In future, where our funds allow, we hope to be able to offer more local groups small grants or donations.
